What I tried to say!

The French take their chocolate very seriously. Yes, one is able to buy blocks of chocolate in the supermarkets, but often each small neighbourhood has a chocolatier.

The top image is close to my favourite crossroads, where Rue Grenelle crosses Rue du Bac, just west of Boulevard Raspail, as the 6th becomes the 7th.

The image below was taken during my long meander up and down Montmartre, eventually wandering down Rue Caulaincourt heading for the Montmartre cemetery.

I like the look of that top one, don't think I'd be able to just walk by. I hope you sampled the wares as well as photographing them.

Wouldn't you know it, VJ - chocolate is masculine in French. But then again, moustache is feminine!
