| We walked down Rue de Montagne de Sainte-Genevieve to where it met Blvd Saint-Germain at Rue Monge. We had been to the local market from time to time on our previous visit two years earlier. I watched this woman for some time. Who was she? Why was she drawing in the market on the Left Bank? Then I saw her teacher. He was young. He was artistic. He was handsome. Then I saw another mature woman drawing. And another ... |

Oh, dear. I am sorry. But the verbs are all over the place in this post. I am trying, and failing, to get the verb tenses straight in my head. "was drawing' was more that I could cope with.
The only thing more perfect than your photo was the grammar! I've been teaching it for 18 years, I should know.
To hell with the damn French verbs! Grrrrrr
