17. La Rue Monge

Nous sommes descendé La Rue de Montagne Sainte-Genèvieve à où il a rencontré Le Blvd. Saint-Germain à La Rue Monge. Nous avions été à la marché local de temps en temps lors nos visite précédente deux ans plus tôt.

J'ai observé cette femme pendant quelque temps. Qui fut-elle? Pourquoi fut-elle dessine dans une marché sur la rive gauche? Alors, j'ai vu son professeur. Il était jeune. Il était artistique. Il était beau. Alors, j'ai vu une autre femme mûre a dessine. Et une autre …

We walked down Rue de Montagne de Sainte-Genevieve to where it met Blvd Saint-Germain at Rue Monge. We had been to the local market from time to time on our previous visit two years earlier.

I watched this woman for some time. Who was she? Why was she drawing in the market on the Left Bank? Then I saw her teacher. He was young. He was artistic. He was handsome. Then I saw another mature woman drawing. And another ...

Oh, dear. I am sorry. But the verbs are all over the place in this post. I am trying, and failing, to get the verb tenses straight in my head. "was drawing' was more that I could cope with.
